Hi guys,
I want to know if i can use wood firmware on Acekard 2/2i, if not, is the only firmware working on this card is akaio?

Also, I saw wood R.P.G firmware saying it only works on acekard R.P.G. I searched for that product but can't find a retailer for it. I searched on lightake, shoptemp and realhotstuff but nothing there. Where can I buy it from?

Thanks

1 - No, you can't use Wood firmware on the Acekard, only the official and AKAIO work... but AKAIO's getting updates and new features just like wood, why not use AKAIO?

2 - You don't want an RPG, it's not a good cart to buy anymore (thus barely anybody selling it). The 2i is the card to get, it's why everybody stocks it.

so I can use wood on original R4, R4i dsn and R4i gold right?
problem is that r4 only support 2gb micro sd card. The new wood support r4 from r4ds.cn

core:
- R4iDSN (http://www.r4idsn.com/) support added. thanx to R4iDSN team for provided support.

I searched for this card and found it here:
http://www.taobaodao.com/goods-3615.html

is it the one supporting wood? i'm really confused as there are many r4's out there

Thanks

you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
