I notice alot of people get lost in the "3DS- Flashcards & Custom firmware"
would it be a good idea to set up 2 new categories? (or sub categories)

- Flashcard - "Gateway & Custom Firmware" or rename "3DS- Flashcards & Custom firmware" to it.
- Flashcard - "Sky3DS and Clones" (Like QQ3DS)
- Custom Firmware

It would be alot more clear for both users.

Just asking :)

nope, if people read the FAQ's and stickies there would be a lot less people "getting lost".......there is many things that apply to both cards, splitting them would probably just make it harder for users to find the information they need......and if you where going down that route, why not have cfw separate too.....that has nothing to do with gateway, things are fine as they are :)....if people read the stickies they will be fine, if people don't well its their own problem

i liked your post, not for saying nope, but for this what i quoted ;)

I know it's all about reading FAQ and stickies, but i bet 80% doesn't do that (and i think i'm generous here with 80%)

If the majority of us point them there maybe they would, I hate to constantly answer the same question that keeps getting ask.

You got it there, but whatever they do to improve the forum categories, there will always be people who will keep asking the same questions over and over again instead of doing some search/reading work.
It's a pitty, but that's the way it is.

yeah, you can split the forum up as much as you like, but the simple fact is the majority of people dont read anything at all before posting their questions........so really all you would be doing is splitting it up, they still won't read and will still keep posting "will gateway work on 9.5?" or "why wont my eshop game work on my sky3DS?" keeping it all together means all these pointless questions have more people able to answer them, i have answered lots of sky3ds questions, don't own one, but anyone who reads these forums regularly knows 99% of the info, if sky3ds section was split, i doubt i would be going into there so people would have less people to answer their questions.........plus with stuff like the bans which are affecting both sky3ds/gateway users, surely its better to have those kinds of threads merged so people can get a better idea of whats going on

This answer has a lot of good points i didn't consider before posting this question :) (Don't think i just throwed the question here without thinking ;) )

@Kirbydogs, What OS build was it?

Dev build that was leaked, meant for Microsoft 365
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, Ah yes, it was meant for 365 Link devices. Not meant to be used as a consumer build because it's very stripped down to the core.

It is kinda creepy though, it shows *some* insight on what Windows may look like in the future. For example, the CTRL+ALT+DEL menu is a.. webview?

@Kirbydogs, The Windows 11 OOBE is a webview, even the 365 enterprise logon screen.
