80810001 is one of the worst errors to get. It's the Somethings wrong sir, code.

Try checking all fuses if a short is around the area. 7003 I think the coder fix one of these caps when he got that error, but I might miss remember
All fuses and capacitors have been checked. There are no short circuits.

Hi. PS5 slim. 1 sec blue light. 80801f12 uart error. Shorts not detected. Has anyone had such a problem?

Not encountered so far... But an idea. The 80801xxx are related to the GDDR6 RAM ics. There are 808011xx and 808016xx errors which point to specific ram ics. If the 80801F12 is also a ram related error and follow the same logic, it would point towards the both ram ics 2 & 5.

Are the stdby voltages all present?
What is the initial power draw over time if the power cord is plugged into the PS5?

all voltages are present initial. When the main power is turned on, the consumption is 320 Ma and drops to 0. When connecting the UART, it immediately gives an error without pressing the power button.
I tried changing the wifi, no changes

Update, I ordered 4pcs of new rom chips, so as stetofix mentioned, Ill replace 2,5 one at the time to see if code changes,
Any other ideas?

Replacing 2 and 5 ram chip helped with 80801f12, console booted and started working.

But for short amount of time, more looks like heating the board helped something, next suspect is ripped pads under APU

Ok, so lets start with replacing ram2 and ram5… did you change rams with heat station or bga station?

I bought an NVMe SSD drive, moved all games to the SSD drive, and played for a second day without any crashes from DVD discs or the internal disk. I think error 808B00FF: Known Unknown 823 (Power) - Report Findings and 808300F0: Secure Loader Error are related to the on-board SSD chips or controller.

edit:

Sorry, it crashed after two days.
were you able to fix it? im thinking to swap the ssd controller

i have similar error codes and similar behaviour of shutting down while playing games

had PS5-SLIM came in with blue light blinking for ever. UART reading only found "80931113" in HIGH. Not sure if APU related or not.

Good day, friends. I have such a problem. My PS5 EDM030 has stopped displaying an image. The UART has issued an error code: c002033 APU is not responding. I made a reball DDR6, it didn't help, then I made a reball APU. Now, if you connect the power supply to 12V, the UART does not give errors. After pressing the Start button, the UART returns error 80871061. Tell me, why does this error appear? PS, please excuse me, English is not my native language

I suspect the ssd. The 80871062 error is a ssd controller related problem.

Ok,
Update: I replaced 2,5 rams, but no change to error code, so what i could do next -> start to replace one -by one and report if code changes? This could help to update code list…
Or any other ideas to check or replace

And happy holidays👌merry christmas
