4TB is not acceptable ? I want to clean it and convert it to MBR. My other 2TB works. Not 4TB. Nothing. I was told that MBR is for under 2TB only. Please help ?
Question... Will this 5.05 exploit/homebrew/cfw allow me to run backup games that require firmwares above 5.05?
Hmm, my drive is 2TB, hence why it worked for me, but try deleting the volume, and formatting it as exfat (regardless of MBR/GPT) and see if it works...
Plenty of people have used 4TB+ drives... its definitely possible to use em, but I'm unsure of the GPT issue.
Edit:
Googling it seems GPT with exfat should be fine for USB 3.0 drives over 2.2 TB.
It will allow you to run backup games that require firmwares under 5.05 only.
PS4 will run GPT with exfat ? I had 2TB with GPT and fat32 and PS3 doesnt recognised it. So I changed it to MBR and FAT32 for 2TB and it worked for PS3 with PS3 isos.
How do I format it after deleting the volume ? No idea.
Delete volume, new simple volume, format exfat.
Like I said: I dunno much about +2TB drives as I barely use my 500GB OG.
or partition it and use the first 2.2TB as MBR ? derpWindows 10 format exfat but doesnt have MBR or GPS. I think I will return it and get 2Tb. I have other 2TB for PS4. Doesnt matter to me. Thanks for your time.
So I just did a quick search and couldn't find the exact wording I'm looking for.
I would like to get rid of the Update the system software to use network features nag.
I've disable automatic updates, and disable the rest mode features for it, but I still have that nag.
I doubt an update has actually been downloaded. How do I clear that nag?
or partition it and use the first 2.2TB as MBR ? derp
ALSO use third party tools to do this process of change MBR etc.., windows built in ones are jacked.
YupWas 5.05 confirmed to work with god of war? Just wondering.
No you need MBR (recommended = definitely works) for PS4 to play ball afaik.I know about that one.. Thanks, thought.
Wait.. PS4 will recongised just exfat format through windows 10 without a MBR?
This is actually bad advice. I appreciate you helping though. All I needed to do was change my DNS to Al Azifs. You'd most likely want to reinitialize and that'll get rid of it. Then turn off automatic downloads later
Yup

I've figured out how to remove the account. Apparently I'd need to deactivate the console or something. How do I remove my PSN account from the console before proceeding with this?
