lis dis

Disk 2

And it wont do anything. It just jump to DISKPART> again and again.

4TB is not acceptable ? I want to clean it and convert it to MBR. My other 2TB works. Not 4TB. Nothing. I was told that MBR is for under 2TB only. Please help ?

Hmm, my drive is 2TB, hence why it worked for me, but try deleting the volume, and formatting it as exfat (regardless of MBR/GPT) and see if it works...

Plenty of people have used 4TB+ drives... its definitely possible to use em, but I'm unsure of the GPT issue.

Edit:

Googling it seems GPT with exfat should be fine for USB 3.0 drives over 2.2 TB.

So I just did a quick search and couldn't find the exact wording I'm looking for.

I would like to get rid of the Update the system software to use network features nag.

I've disable automatic updates, and disable the rest mode features for it, but I still have that nag.

I doubt an update has actually been downloaded. How do I clear that nag?

You'd most likely want to reinitialize and that'll get rid of it. Then turn off automatic downloads later

I'm trying to figure this all out as my PS4 has been at 5.00 for ages. To update to 5.05, I use the PUP file, but I already have the 5.55 OFW update pending. As per KiiWii's guide, is it absolutely necessary to install the 5.05 PUP off the USB in safe mode only? or can I install it from the USB outside safe mode?

I've figured out how to remove the account. Apparently I'd need to deactivate the console or something.
But if I then made a new "dummy" account for hacking usage, will I need to go online to activate it and then force a firmware update to the latest version?
