Hello,

I've bought used PS vita today and of course it came with unsigned account from previous owner. Since I don't want to bother old owner with sending me password so I can delete it, Im looking for another solution which might help me to remove his old account from console (Home, R and Power button do not work).

Also a question about remote play. I wanted to test out remote play on my Vita from PS3 and using usual connection (not internet connection) image seems to be a bit laggy. Can someone tell me is it going to be much better if I connect vita and PS3 over internet?

I wouldn't bother with the ps3 and the vita. it's very sluggish. I think the ps4's is far superior if you own that system.

Also, since we're already here, is it possible to mod Vita on FW 3.73? And if yes, can someone recommend me what should i look for?

I do, but I'm currently interested into playing PS3
PS3 remote play is a joke unless you want to play PSX games. The compatability list of PS3 games only has like 20 titles. Even if you mod both consoles to allow any title to boot via Remote Play, it's quite the miserable experience.

Really? What's the difference between PS3 and PS4 in remote play? Since I modded both of my consoles and I'm able to play every game

Don't quote me on this but i remember reading that the PS3 just does not have enough resources available to run PS3 games through Remote Play. I've tried testing it out using Sonic Generations and it was a blurry laggy mess.

PS4 remote play works a lot better. I got through a good chunk of Mementos in Persona 5 that way.

Another question about Vita's remote play. Is it possible to turn on PS4 with Vita while it's completely turned off? I'm currently on 3.60 update (modded Vita) and while trying to turn on console I'm getting error saying please update your firmware.

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
