Hello!

Wondering if you guys can help me out with a frustrating problem with Project Zero 5 - Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water.

I can't seem to find any new versions of this game to download, only LoadLine versions and only the trial version is available on Wii U USB Helper - I'm in Australia and it doesn't seem to be available to buy on the Ninty store.

So I've built it into a WUP GX2 installable by using NUSPacker.jar and it installs and appears to load and then hangs on the first screen.

Please help, this game is one of the main reasons I bought a Wii U!

Thanks in advance ...

You could always try eBay if you wanted to purchase the game officially. It’s an import, Japanese I believe, so you’d have to run Haxchi or Spiik to play it out of region.

Does the Japanese version have English subs and English menu options?

Hi, beebul

I had exact same issue with you that the game was freeze at title screen (picture of girl (ghost?) in the forest. The sound keep continuing but nothing more. Finally, hard reset.
Can you tell me what is the way you try to fix it? for more info, my Wii U is JP and I try both US and EU install.

Thanks

iirc there are several Wii U games that will crash if you had the Homebrew Loader open before launching them (Hyrule Warriors should be one of them). So if you used HBL to install the game and try to boot it right away, it will crash. Reset the console, don't enter HBL and the game will work just fine.

This is a solution.

This is the solution that worked for me, thanks a lot.
