(Images are illustrations; if this gets accepted, it'll probably only be added in TempStyle 3 and I don't know how profile pages look like in it.)

I'm all for it, nothing wrong with more customizability to make your profile page your own.

MySpace had the right idea, I'm not a fan of how sterile websites all look these days.
