I installed Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva on my 3ds, but whenever I attempt to load the movie in emunand, I receive the error message: ERROR_MESSAGE_LOAD. Any help is appreciated.

i know this is several months old, but i'm going to necrobump with a solution for anyone else that finds this thread on google for this problem, you need Lumalocalswitcher and you need to change the region of the movie from system default to Europe, and then to the language (so i downloaded the french version, i opened both localswitche and changed the region to EUR and the language to FR)

Thank you, but I already solved this problem with your solution months ago

What's the solution? I'm trying to follow the method your giving, but I keep getting the message ERROR_MESSAGE_LOAD. I have Luma CFW with A9LH and my region is the US. Can you please help me. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm also on version 11.3. I don't use emuNAND. The video I'm trying to load is Project Mirai LOL -lots of laugh- which is from Japan and is in Japanese. Please help me. ):

You need luma local switcher. you should have FBI installed go to the titlesdb and download both versions Luma Locale Switcher and Luma Locale Switcher RVN (You should only need one but i could never get that to work) then open one, set the videos region to JPN and language to JP, then open the other and do the same, it should work then

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    thanks btw
