Translation Process for giving translation updates?

Hi everyone, just wondering how project updates are done here?
Are we allowed/expected to create new thread for every new updates or do we create one thread and just reply to that with new updates?
The reason I ask is because the former seems cleaner but could get annoying if a new thread is always created for just updates.
And if the latter, if you reply on the thread with updates, it might get lost in the pages as people add their input or discuss the project in general.

That's a very valid question.

The reason is I need the community's help in QA-ing the translations and seeing if they make sense or if I missed anything.
Also, I don't want this project to be like that Megaman X Corrupted Project where they just keep showcasing their stuff but no releasing why they have so far.

GBATemp is the wrong place to ask for QA assistance, that's completely understandable.

Asking for help is an entirely different thing from posting updates, is it not? You'll have to decide for yourself how frequently you're comfortable asking for help.

The question remains: why not wait until the project ready for release before asking for "QA help"? It seems very unlikely that everything's going to be perfect in the first release, even if you get QA help along the way. A release candidate is also likely to get a lot more attention than some kind of "update".

Yes, there seems to be little reason to expect much help for that here. If your concern is whether a translation makes sense or if you missed anything, you'd probably be better off finding some sort of language forum.

The vast majority is not likely to be particularly concerned with translation accuracy in the end, as long as it's coherent, I reckon.
