Hacking Problem with backup launcher 0.3 gamma

When I boot the backup launcher it's giving me a black screen with backup launcher 0.3 gamma and a little green gecko in the bottom left corner and nothing else. no text or anything. Now it was working just fine last week when I was last playing it. We had a power outage around here for a few days so I haven't had a chance to play lately. I was thinking something might have been wrong with the launcher so I reinstalled and still the same problem...If this has been answered before I'm sorry for asking but some help would be REALLY appreciated

Oh my god I thought I was in the Wii homebrew room...crap sorry

Try removing any gamecube memory cards or devices from the GC memcard slots.
