Honestly, it should be too hard to port over A9LH compatibility and FIRM0/1 protection. I mean you can easily port over the source from ReiNAND/Luma3DS.

I'd much rather it be in a stable state and not undergoing fairly drastic changes under the hood personally...

There still should be some focus on A9LH, simply because it's the biggest focus right now in the community. I don't mean to make it the main focus, but it's going to really keep this CFW alive to follow the trends.

Not exactly, GW EmuNAND created from your SysNAND should work fine, I have that one too. Looks like somehow your EmuNAND is of the different size of SysNAND. Could you backup both and cut only the first sectors for me to check?

I backed up sysnand and emuand, same size (1.000.341.504 Bytes , so 954MB, both - no byte more no byte less).
But what do you need now, what you mean with the first sectors? The first bytes or the first partiton within the backups?

First 512 bytes with NCSD signature.

Okay,^^. The NCSD Signature was getting via rom_tool, right?
Then here are the files, first 512 bytes of emu and sysnand dump and also the signatures.
The signatures are identical and also the 512Bytes of those backups.

I tried it on an other 3DS (same setup, only I have their sysNand 9.2, but Gateway EmuNand 10.2)
same thing...

Partitioning is exactly the same as in my unit, so not the issue. So you have EmuNAND oprions colored red on both units?

Yes, emuNand options are all red, so no chance todo anything here. Hopefully you can determine a problem?

Don't know sorry ^^. Maybe.
I used often EmuNandTool, because its faster then decrypt9 I think, should be no problem. I will try it in the afternoon (but only with one of those 3DS's, cause my brother has the other one at home.)

It's a GW Emunand, created with the Gateway itself.

Both µSD Adapters are from Emtec, the µSD itself, don't know yet.
So, u jsut backuped and restore my emunad with emunandtool and try it again. Already the same issue.
I can install it, but no options for emunand.

Weird issue, have no clue what is the cause If you have any other 1+GB SD card to check it would be better to do so.

I have some toher sd-cards, maybe I will try it tomrrow then. That's really a weired issure. Sorry that i have such problems xD

Not a prob, thank you for testing! Even if there is a problem with the SD card, it is an intercompatibility problem since other tools is working for you, right? BTW Have you tried older rxTools before?

I like testing new/edited stuff. That's true, I have used rxtools a long time (old version, 3.0) without any problems and now use Luma3DS as CFW and also without problems. That's the strange thing
