Can't Reproduce Posts not auto merging

Double posts are not auto merging

I think it normally does that, but sometimes when the database/system is unresponsive, it is unable to... So that's when double posts occur?

Double posts have always auto-merged for me, and I've only ever used the site.

Today, they are not.

I've had this in the past and the cause was actually my internet being very slow
