ROM Hack Possible HG/SS fix for CycloDS users?

they released a new beta, CycloDS Evolution v1.58 BETA 2

CycloDS Evolution v1.58 BETA 2 firmware has been released for testing, changes include:

* Fix for file time stamp issue
* Fix for "argv" information passed to homebrew software
* Fixed save size for 4323, 4568
* Experimental game compatibility fix for 4747, 4748

* Experimental game compatibility fix for 4747, 4748
this is the fix for the HG/SS

also
for game that have AP
they will release a fix if needed, WHEN the game's STREET data comes
if a game is LEAKED, a fix will NOT happen right a way

I own an original R4 (I think) and as far as I know the official firmware hasn't been updated in ages so i'm running YSmenu, does this mean i'll have to wait for an updated ysmenu?
What are other R4 users using?

Well their approach is working because at this point I'm seriously considering replacing my aging R4 with a Cyclods Evolution or Acekard 2i; and Cyclo looks like the better choice with all the cool features it has like save states and whatnot.

Cyclo is the best choice if you don't own a DSi. I bought an EZVi for my DSi and I still kept the Cyclo and fat DS which I dust off ocasionally for situations like this one.

tho Acekard 2i is kinda superior (for SS/HG)
Playing games is more important than save states. (tho I agree it's cool)

Awesome Job TC, just spent the past 30 minutes entering and exiting a building, which should have froze the game eventually, but so far nothing. Had to be about 500 screen changes. I still need to do some test with other things like trainer and wild Pokemon battles, but so far its looking good.

Why the F*** are you guys fighting over a stupid firmware? This is a CYCLODS FIRMWARE so rest of the flashcart users GTFO if your going to complain about how your flashcart team hasn't sent out a newer firmware or a patch.

I like the complaining. I've been saying TC was the best for a long time but people don't want to listen. Well it's the Cyclo users that are playing HG SS today.

Acekards were able to play the games when they came out, no fix specifically for these games needed.

maybe but YSMenu use the DSTT firmware and if DSTT is updated your YSmenu is also

if you where smart you would realise that YSmenu is built from DSTT updates

YSmenu hasn't been updated in almost a year, it was last touched on March 27, 2009. But YSmenu uses DSTT files, so whenever a new DSTT firmware is released you can rebuild YSmenu using that.
