Dekopon - (Mostly) Fullspeed 3DS Emulation on Nintendo Switch

I really like the new in-game menu and all the new features in the latest unstable version!

However, I’m not sure why, but ever since I updated to the previous unstable version, all my games are taking a very long time to start up. I even uninstalled everything and did a fresh installation just to make sure, but unfortunately, it didn’t make any difference. Once I’m actually in-game, everything runs great.

Also, could you make the performance preset the default preset when installing dekopon fresh? At first, I was wondering why everything was running worse, until I realized the preset wasn’t enabled by default.

Settings should maintain themselves across versions. Performance isn't the default because there are some games that have issues with it (Majora's Mask, Metriod: Samus Returns, etc.). Long load times is known about and I'm looking into it (I believe I know what the issue is).

I'm really glad of all the recent changes to this emulator, it really elevates the experience and makes it really worthwhile.

About the AC:NL crash with breaking rocks, it happened to me once. After doing that, the whole game started getting unstable until it ended up crashing. Since it just happened once, I don't know if that was truly the reason.

Now, the emu seems to crash sometimes while attempting to load the game. But at the next boot it boots it fine.

After a game has already booted, suspending the execution of the emulator whether when going to sleep mode or just using other stuff like the OS menu or applet mode, it does lead to a period where, after going back to the game, the game executes extremely slowly for a long period of time (depending for how long it was suspended, the longer the wait time is). The in-game menu does work while it's happening, though don't mess too much with it otherwise the image freezes.

Overall it's a good experience, you just need to be careful with certain things, and save frequently. This is quite better than what was available for this device, all things considered. Azahar on Lakka admittedly doesn't have as many issues, though it works slower, which ultimately is the deal breaker for me.

I wonder if online on Dekopon works since I haven't been able to, but maybe it's just that I can't get it working.
