The Switch reveal yesterday triggered a lot of reactions from fans all over the world. We've only seen but a glimpse of what the console can do, we're still waiting on the detailed spec sheet for example.

At this point, based on your first impressions, what do you think of the Switch?

We will make more polls in the future (when we know more), it'll be interesting to see the evolution of opinion over time.

Definitely looks better than the Wii U (which I own as well).

Personally, I think it looks promising. I'm curious about the specs in general, and the differences in power between playing the console version and the handheld version (Breath of the Wild's framerate looked pretty low during handheld play in the reveal video).

I wish polls worked on tapatalk but now I'm subscribed.

I'm personally scared a bit being a hybrid. It could be my next handheld though. That's what I'm probably primarily going to use it for, just handheld.

I'm more curious about your opinion @Costello Mr. Grandmaster sir. We need your wise insight.

Fanboy here, so I have to have the latest Nintendo console regardless. :P

I'm reasonably excited but a little apprehensive. Could just be a mediocre console and mediocre handheld duct-taped together. At least it's just one purchase, not two.

It looks like it has potential. Just from the trailer I can tell that there appear to be many developers creating games for this console which really gives me some hope for Nintendo' future. I believe this will be another unique console with some great games. But, once again, I feel that people will see this as another gimmick. Nintendo is going to need some very good games and great presentation to succeed along with a solid wave of console release games.

Whoever votes the bottom option are just more CoD Squeakers.
It's quite frustrating when people simply disregard something like Nintendo fro past consoles or games without thinking at all. I can still see this within the Nintendo community as well unfortunately.

It's the sexiest product Nintendo has ever made. The commercial reeked of Sony to me as if it's marketed towards teens and adults (not a bad thing).

The controller looks a lot more comfortable than the Wiiu.

But we saw them playing games like splatoon. I wonder how that'll work...

So when its home console its more powerful(when its plugged in to the station) I noticed the device was lagging heavy on zelda. Someone please clarify.

I find it hard to like. They have made a lot of compromises in order to have those two small detachable mini controllers for multiplayer.
Lack of: d-pad, dual screen mode (like DS or Wii U), backwards compatibility (for not having dual screen mode), cameras, motion controls / touchscreen (we still need confirmation of that).

Now I want to buy a Wii U on the cheap just to play Zelda: Breath of the Wild, since I won't have the touch inventory and map view with the Nintendo Switch.

must admit, this is another good innovation :D
i just only concern about the next version of it, and the battery life, since there' so many parts, but.. oh well... they must still have another thing behind... but still... worth to wait i guess.
can't wait for another improvement :D
