It's just that info is for the MEW given at the Toys 'R' Us Event in the US for the GBA games. If legit I assume the previous owner made a copy of it before trading, of course. On the other hand the info for that MEW is well known so it could be easily a hacked version. I'll check it when uploaded.

By the way, which Pokemon was he/she asking for that MEW? I'm curious

Weapon, when you beat the game and get national dex, there's a place called Pal PArk that open up. They'll tell you how to get pokemon from older games onto Diamond/pearl. Then use pokesav and save them.

I traded a Manaphy egg and a level 100 shiny Ditto that once had Pokerus for it.

Also, it wasn't on GTS, it was a 1-to-1 trade with some GameFAQs person.

Just go to the Events option in Pokesav, select "Mystery Gift Edit", then under "Gift" check Enable Gift and select the Manaphy Egg in the drop down box.

After that, save, go to a pokemart and talk with the guy in green and he'll give it to you if you have a slot free in your party.

Is it me, or are almost none of these work? The ones with the lowercase names generally work, but if I try and load any others it comes up in mojibake (f/pfp./;'=-^%ff/f/ looking characters.)

Almost none? You must be doing something wrong.

If you can't load them into your party directly, try adding them in Storage instead, this usually works for most.

Most of the all-caps ones throw errors for me as well.

Just tried redownloading all of them and added them to a test savegame I have laying around, when I tried to add them in my party I got the error message. However, when I added them to en empty slot in storage, I got no error message and they were added just fine.

MAKE SURE YOU ADD THESE TO AN EMPTY SLOT IN EITHER PARTY OR STORAGE, OR THEY WON'T WORK.

*ahem* sorry for the caps, but this should get the message through.

(That does it, I'm writing a FAQ for pokesav so we can avoid more of these problems.)

Good idea Zinic, I've been wanting to write one but two things have been holding me back:
1- Exams
2- If people can't figure out how to work a hack that is obvious and given to them (if they TRY things it'll eventually work), I don't see why I should bother :/
