This is actually correct. The reason for this is games and DLC have "personalized" tickets which include Nintendo Account data and unique certificate data. Installing pirated versions strip this info out and these broken tickets are what can get you banned. But updates don't use personalized tickets, they use common tickets that are the same for everyone. There's no difference installing an update via NSP or downloading it from Nintendo.

Huh, interesting. The problem is, earlier in the thread (follow the reply chain) they allude to dumping the game off of their cartridge and installing it. That will get you banned.

Actually I'm a different poster than the person who originally said they dumped the game. I haven't dumped it, I literally only use PKHex and Checkpoint to edit saves. I still use the cartridge, but thank you for the info.

I get you, I'm in IT so this makes sense. But obviously I shouldn't download it from Nintendo because the rule of thumb is to never connect to the internet with a modded Switch? I'll just download the .nsp update file.

Just tried on Sword and it works fine... you have to hold R while throwing the Wishing thing into the den. And if you hold L the light disappears until you release the L button.

How do I close a den without fighting the Pokemon? I hold L but nothing happens

Congrats for all hard work done converting codes to 1.1 version.
Only few days after patch release I just miss these two codes that worked on 1.0 version:

YES just tested it for you they will also get the shiny but dont Use Ivs code with that it will desync both of you since the ivs will not Match

Hello! Does anyone have a code for 100% capture rate in max raid battles? When my hacked switch joins a local raid (hosted by my second switch) and have the regular 100% capture rate cheat turned on, I do not have 100% capture rate. I was trying to catch a gmax Pokemon in a beast ball, but it keeps getting away. If anyone can help me out I would be grateful

If there isn't, why not give yourself 999 Master Balls? Even if you trade them over on a mon (to avoid "suspicion"), a Master Ball is a Master Ball. If it becomes a "problem" change the ball with PKhex...though, I guess you could just hex everything.

Primarily, I have to guess when you join that raid, the hacked Switch is accounting for the non-hacked Switch not running the same cheats as you.

I think that's a "thing" with cheats and online--some games let you cheat online, but only if everyone has the same cheats. Not an absolute rule, but I haven't learned absolutely everything.

For fun, here's a link that might help you if you want a Gmax baby with a pokeball (because Master Ball doesn't get passed down..words and stuff...read and you'll probably understand what I'm saying).

P.S. Apparently, there are conflicting reports--some guy bred that Charizard and got a Charmander with the Gmax symbol.

Did you read the Edizon page? You might be able to change the build and title ID....unless they changed RAM addresses for whatever you're trying to do.....maybe:
1. Keep the SW/SH update on your SD.
2. Delete the update you have now (via an installer, like tinfoil)
3. Do whatever you're trying to do
4. Load the update from SD

Other than that, you might be able to reset the version if there's a mismatch...but I have no idea

Read stuff and see what happens--make a backup before, though.

that's because with the new update the game gets a new BID and the cheats won't be recognized

don't know if you just need to rename the BID txt to make them work again though(but most likely you need to get the cheats for the specific BID)
