Yes. Keep in mind the drivers only work on 32-bit versions of Windows.

There's actually a way to get it working on 64-bit versions. I can confirm this, as I've successfully used the NDS Adapter Plus on Vista Ultimate x64:

You need to use the "Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider" tool that's linked to on the first post, but it works. Damn MS for all that signed driver bull$#%@.

Your also going to need so Solder 2 tiny points on the retail cart. I wish it was only software related that we couldn't move the save.

Soldering isn't required for the NDS Adapter Plus, which was the device he's linking to. It's designed to dump Hg/Ss saves. You only need to solder if you're using the original NDS Adapter. The firmware on the Plus model is upgradeable, so it can be adapted for new games. I'm pretty sure homebrew can be updated to be able to dump Hg/Ss saves, so it is a software issue (in that you need to change the software to access the appropriate hardware)... it's just a matter of if anyone who's capable is actually going to bother to do it.

Someone should dump the firmware on the NDS Backup Plus so we can figure out how it's controlling the switch. Anyone have one or a link to the files it uses?

Hey, we have a Transfan (I'm assuming, lol) in the thread
grog.gif
. What's wrong with that version of Megatron... he was, by far, the most intelligent Megatron of the bunch.

Here's the download page for the Versoin 2.0 firmware update for the Adapter Plus:

http://www.hkems.com/download%20-%200907.htm

I'm pretty sure v1 also worked with Hg/Ss... the only thing mentioned about the v2 update is compatibility for "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky". Kind of odd this game would need an update to work... does anyone know if Explorers of Sky has trouble with the usual homebrew save dumpers?

Thanks, I already found that. I'm working on disassembling the v2.0_upgrade.exe. Kinda rusty at this hopefully someone with more experience can help. I'll make a separate thread.
