How does script editing work? Say I want to edit Gym Leader rematch calls so they're no longer day/time dependent; which script/function number is it? How do I remove the day/time requirements?

Or if I want to edit the very start of the game; how do I locate which script is involved?

Or the Battle Frontier, in order to remove Pokemon restrictions (there's already an AR code for that, but it'd be nice to remove it altogether) and item restrictions?

How do Move Tutors work? My first guess is that each species has a list of Tutor moves they can learn, similar to how they've all got a list of level-up and TM moves; my second guess is that each Tutor move has a list of species IDs that can learn it. Not sure which one is used, and I would like to learn how to determine this (so I can edit Tutor compatibility).

You may of heard of The 2.0 revamp in progress, which will have some Pokémon from future generations, it's not done yet however.

if you're really wanting to play hgss again/play it now, maybe go get Golden Edition off pokecommunity. No telling when 2.0 will be out and the current version is buggy.

Hey all. Just beat Red on my first run and first off, this game is fantastic. HGSS were already my favorite pokemon games and now I don't know if I want to go back and play the originals lol. I have a question with an issue I'm having however.

So I just beat Red and skipped through the credits and now the game won't launch. I'm running on Desmume, but this is the first time the rom has ever given me issues. Far as I can tell, my files are uncorrupt and I had not modified them in anyway other than saving before Red. Any tips on what I should do?

I just realized I screwed myself over lol. When fiddling around with it I reloaded my old save state... from right after the second gym. Effectively just reset the game on myself lmao. I didn't ever back up my save, which was a huge mistake, so I supposed I'm out of luck eh?

I'm a big fan of the mod, and I think you did a great job. One suggestion I have, though, is where it's possible to obtain the TM for Flash. The important item location guide tells me that it's available in the Pokemon Center in Route 10, but in Storm Silver, you need flash to go through the Whirl Islands. At the same time, Lyra (or Ethan) won't let you go to the Kanto region before you do the Lugia story. I'd suggest moving the TM to somewhere in Johto.
