Hacking Pokemon Platinum and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D lag

I'm experiencing lag in Pokemon Platinum when I'm in Hearthome City. As soon as I enter a house or building, the lag is gone. The lag only occurs if I'm on the streets of Hearthome. I also noticed that by turning off the real-time guide, the lag disappears.

Sometimes, I also lag between duels in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D. As the battles get drawn out and get longer and longer, I seem to lag more and more. I haven't tried turning off the menu options yet since I haven't played Yu-Gi-Oh for a while though.

Is anyone else getting these lags? Is there a way to fix this?

From the sounds of it you fixed your own problem, turn of in game guide.

Also it could be your microsd card.

I could try formatting the card and see if that helps...Generally it doesn't change much since I get no lag when I'm using the DSTT boot loader on my SuperCard so it's definitely my SuperCard that's causing the lag...

In global.ini, I have my SCSDSpeed=5X and the SCSDSpeedValue=26-28. Does changing the SCSDSpeed change anything? I know the SCSDSpeedValue controls how fast the SuperCard would read my microSD card....I think.
