Besides, this is not Diamond and Pearl we're talking about- this is Platinum.

Try it yourself, the original, unpatched ROM of Platinum doesn't work underground on an emulator. This patch can't fix that.

Sorry u was right i tired in unpatched rom and this not worked..
but i dont understand why the hell its worked in Diamond&pearl..
Maybe cuz this was in english (100%)?

Since he's says hes against cheating. And isnt gonna fix it. I just backup my save file and load it to Pokesav. That makes it work perfectly.

Oh yeah.. Fixing the Ultra ball removed the ability for cheats to work. Oops.

However, since I'm STRONGLY against cheating, this is not a priority fix.

Also to get your cheats to work, have your cheat editor find the game ID.....
like for example the cyclods cheat editor, highlight the game, and there will be a button next to the game ID. once clicked, find the new platinum rom, then click apply. If someone can explain it better, help me out.....
long story short, find the new game ID and change it over.

New Patch ID (3.1): CPUJ 01A43285

great a new patch, I didn't realize that there was a new one because I was working on somethings for the college.
but now I have a little question

rykin, why when I patch the rom, the file create a new one but with a lower size?
(because the untrimmed game's size was 128mb or something like that and the new one's size is 100mb)

I mean, this doesn't affect the game?

PS: I read the thread but I don't know why this happens

The patch makes the size smaller because japanese text is bigger space if I am correct.

but with the first patch, and the 2.5 one doesn't happen that, justo with 2.0 and 3.1 ones

thanks for the updated patch too bad ur not releasing anymore public patches. cant blame u tho if i were u i would stop releasing them for the public to cuz all we do is jus complain about how its not perfect and when is the next one coming out?

I think isn't a stupid question :S, maybe the rom works but that doesn't mean that will does work at 100%, I mean, in this case works but think about it, any person can note that the size is less than the previos one, so any person could think about why does this happen, and if the rom will work fine, we all know that this project has some glitches but when I ask about the size of the game and if this will "perfectly" work I'm not talking about that glitches... so I just ask why the size is lower than the untrimmed platinum game...

I'm still thinking that's not a stupid question... ¬¬
