ROM Hack Pokemon HG/SS hack - no gen 3 and 4?

Is there any hack out there for HG/SS that removes all gen 3 and 4 pokemurn? Keeping only Johto and Kanto pokemon would be pretty sweet.

Tried googling it, didnt really work out. Though I do remember seeing it on google a while ago.

In Pokemon HGSS, almost all of the 3rd/4th gen pokemon appear as national dex trainer battles, pokewalker pokemon, fossils, hoenn/sinnoh sound, or evolutions of 1st gen Pokemon.

So it would be fairly easy to make this type of hack. However, why would you want to? More Pokemon = More Content = More Replayability = More Fun.

Just go play the original Gold/Silver.

So which is the lesser evil? 1 sprite following you or removal of 3rd and 4th gen due to them not being made yet

I don't like them. I wanted HG/SS to be like Gold/Silver but with 3D graphics. As a hack, that is.

Interestingly enough, i never thought i would say this either, but i agree with nexty. I dont like the addition of the newer pokemon in Kanto. I would like to see a hack like this as well.

Quite simple to do for the most part, remove the 3rd and 4th gens from the area spawn lists and switch out the trainers pokemon that do use those gens for something in the first 2, preferably with Grass to Grass type.

Hell I can do that wouldn't be hard just more time consuming

Edit the event so she gives something else, then the dialogue so she states the other names also

That's a good idea, actually.

I'll look into the 2nd gen events back when G/S/C came out.

Well you can already get Mewtwo from the cave.
