Compare the chances of 6 bad dumps (SS/HG - F, U, K) to the chances of Nintendo making an Anti-Piracy that works hackers over this hard.
Considering they already did, and that AceKard2 already patched it - that seems more likely; don'tcha think?
lolz

should I try to play pokemon and see if I can do more events than without?

I haven't tried playing it since everytone says it's bugged

I'm already going to buy it (But my country is slow in getting new games quickly, it'll probably come by next week or the week after), to show Nintendo/Gamefreak how much I appreciate their work, think of the money they invested in to make Pokemon what it is today, sure they received alot in return too but not as much as they received long back during the Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow (No GB Piracy) days. Like they say every transaction must have two sides, now that's completely unrelated but if Nintendo is providing you a game that makes YOU happy, you return the favour by purchasing the retail copy and the result? Both parties are happy. I bought Pokemon Diamond when it came, didn't even want to download. You all could buy it ,however, in the end of the day, everybody's different. So buying it or not solely depends on you.

It is the same across just about every game and it controls Wifi setup.

What if nintendo thinks that every hacker would think that iltility.bin would have nothing to do with ap, and put it into it because of this?

As to why it works on Acekard i2? Personally, if you asked me, I'd say it's the most logical card the game could work on. Why? It's considered the best designed, therefore Nintendo, while building their AP checks of the various cards, didn't bother/could not come up with an effective one for the acekard 2i as it was designed too well, and having no more time before release, just left it at that.
It's simpler, it works on AKAIO 1.6RC because Normmatt fixed it

i call bs.

bet he doesnt knows why it works on acekard.

Actually from what I've read, the update for the Acekard firmware was done when the Korean version came out. I'm pretty sure it was an update specifically for this AP introduced with the Korean version of HG/SS. Also, Normmatt has been following these threads, so I'm sure he sees what's going on, so give the man a little respect since he's the only one who's figured it out so far.

I lol'd at that

Back ontopic.
I suggest you try that INF thing, it COULD be the source of our games crashing.
I doubt it though

that line of code appears multiple times in the utility bin
ultility bin
[cut]
now then this could directly tye into the reason for the crash computers hate infinity and they will try to work it out to the last number the same as the route of pie or 3.14594...... thus this could be what they are using to create the ap however i doubt that this is the only problem
utility.bin is exclusively for Wi-Fi, it's not used during the course of the normal game. If you compare it to DWC\utility.bin from any other recent Wi-Fi enabled game then you'll see that they are exactly the same. Just give up looking at it.

Also, I can confirm that Supercard Evo OS doesn't use the normal event counter; I can't get any of the saves posted in the other threads to freeze (3, 3, 3 and 14 badges). My own 1 badge save has frozen exactly once after hours of gameplay (certainly more than 50 events).

So Supercard Evo and AceKard seem to be doing something that the others aren't. Not sure what though.

Yes, but Wi-Fi's broken too. It may as well be related.

About the RAM thingy, I've got like 2 GB. Anything I can do?

If you set up a virtual machine, run the rom with less than 256mb or 256mb of ram, it should in theory crash on the first event.

However, the japanese rom should play fine. It spikes to 211mb, compared to the ~300mb of the US rom
The DS only has 4 megabytes of ram according to Wikipedia.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
