ROM Hack Pokemon B/W AP Discussion Thread

The firmware link in my signature will fix any issues for every TTDS user.
No need to use WoodTT now, thank god.
I don't know who made it, but I've seen nothing about it anywhere else.

I'm pretty sure it should be added to the 1st post as it is confirmed working with no issues for B/W.

I patched B/W with the OpenPatch AP patch and my games work fine with this firmware.

I'm not sure if it will work without the AP patch, I've read it would.

Damn, it isn't working... hmm, I think I have a patched rom that isn't the right patch for ttds. I'm gonna find a clean rom.

Alright, I have the newest firmware for my M3i zero, and I tried running black on a clean rom. Turns out it had the EXP anti piracy so I used the patched version I self made. Everything works fine, but the game freezes randomly at any part of the game.(good thing i save every 5 mins). This problem happened on my acekard 2i as well(before I switched to m3i of course). Any suggestions? And please don't say reformat my SD card. I had to do that 5 times just to get it working with my M3i today.

Hi, I hope I'm posting on the right place? figured theres no need for more threads about pokemon.

I'm trying to get pokemon white (eu, #5584) to run on my acekard rpg (just upragaded to akaio 1.8.6a) but im geting a "save data could not be accessed". It's a clean rom with soft reset and ap thing disabled. (tried different combos with enabling and siabling).

Also tried wood rpg since it was supposed to work on that too but same thing "save data could not be accessed".

I'm using the internal memory of the card, dont have any microSD cards or whatever they are.

TLDR; how to get pokemon white to work when geting a "save data could not be accessed"

Thanks in advance. If I posted in the wrong place, im sorry, can you direct me to the correct place?

Bump, I've tried black (U) also and same problem, also tried the patched one but no success.

EDIT: thank you all for all your help!! I managed to fix it by finishign the intro sequence in DesMUME then loading the save file to my DS!

Simple. The patch doesn't address the freezing issues.

Well, I think I found another AP... The Relocator doesn't works here with the Pokémon Black in a FC and a original SS. I can't transfer the Jotho's Legendary Trio or the Celebi to get Zorua or Zoroak...

I have a SanDisk mSD card, formatted with the Panasonic SD Card Formatter. I am using AKAIO 1.8.6a with Bypass AP on. Both the clean and patched version STILL don't work. I get the white screen on boot.
What else can I do to fix this?

I'm playing Pokemon Black on AKAIO 1.8.5a, and it almost always freeze when I try to save.

I tried to update to 1.8.6a but I ended up always getting a clone detection... so I can't use 1.8.6a.

Hm... is it possible you have a clone?

I think that is very possible, because I brick not one, but two of them already by just trying to update its firmware via online.

Guess I'll be looking to buy iEvolution instead.

I fixed my problem. Just pressed l,r,start,select. Restarted game and now works....
