no imagination what so ever 5th gen, non at all, i think the 4rd gen were a push at how unrealistic they could look compared to giving them some real world animal form. 4th gen were just out of that and this gen its just meh, digimon on the other hand has kept its monsters always looking fresh tbh, altho its only the starters so have to see what else they have borked up, i feel for the kids that will play this as their 1st game, because they aint gona know abot how great the 1st 251 were
