It's time for another State of Play--PlayStation's take on the Nintendo Direct formula. With over 20 minutes of game reveals and announcements to show, there's bound to be something interesting for Sony fans, this holiday season.

The stream kicks off with the charming Goose Game, which is finally coming to PS4, on December 17th.

2020 will see yet another battle royale game release for Sony's console, as Spellbreak brings a magic-based spellcasting experience.

After years of teasing, betas, and waiting, the PS4-exclusive Dreams will finally release in full on February 14.

​

Superliminal is a game that makes use of optical illusion puzzles, and will release next year.

​

A PlayStation VR title, Paper Beast, releases Q1 2020, and is a puzzle game.

​

Kingdom Hearts III's latest DLC is releasing January 23rd. Adds new characters.

​

Predator Hunting Grounds releases April 24th.

Platinum Games shows off Babylon's Fall, a game that gives us more of what Platinum does best--hack and slash action goodness. More info is coming this summer.

Resident Evil 3 Remake announced officially, following the leak. April 3rd.

PlayStation's Ken Kutaragi celebrates the 25th anniversary of the PlayStation 1, thanking the fans for years of success.

We end on a very, very brief tease of Ghost of Tsushima, which will get more footage at this year's Game Awards.

It's definitely the most successful console line in the last 20 years, but I'm not convinced that it's the most successful general brand. Either way, I hope some real competition presents itself next generation. Otherwise their censorship will just continue to become ever more pervasive, especially in Japanese games.
