Seems like a cheap port for some quick dough.

Well, considering they have widescreen support and new controls, and for only $30, this is a great way to play some great Gamecube titles if you never had a Gamecube. Heck, I can't wait for the Metroid Primes to hit where they add Prime 3 controls to them.

Pikmin had widescreen progressive scan mode on GameCube... not sure about Tennis, but i still have Pikmin and Pikmin 2 for the cube, and when I pop them in my Wii, it asks if I want progressive mode on... oh, and I have the HiDef AV cables for my Wii

I wonder what other titles will be ported or will it only be Nintendo's own games.

This is just something Nintendo is doing, so it will be only Nintendo titles.

Japan has the following announced so far:

Mario Power Tennis
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat
Chibi-Robo

Why is this news? Nintendo announced this in I think October and last week they mentioned both games in their first quarter launch schedule. Not try to be a jerk.

The only one I'm really looking forward is Mario Power Tennis

I loved that game on the GBA, liking the GC version, so the Wii version will be nice too.
But it would be more awesome if they put an online mode in it

Seems like a good idea if you don't want to get a gamecube controller, memory card and game this seems
to cut down the price for people but I would rather go the classic gamecube stuff than this but I hope they do SSBM and TLOZWW
EDIT: Hope this comes to Australia

30 dollars is a great price! That will probably mean 30 euros for Europe. With 10% discount I get at a game shop here, that's 27 euros, which I'm willing to spend on DK: Jungle Beat and Chibi-Robo

A few days ago I received my White GC controller from Play-Asia, and now I can play all the GC games on my Wii

(I already had a memory card)
SSBM and TLoZWW are definately my favourites this far.

I wasn't expecting it to be that cheap.. I never had a Game Cube so I can't wait for the Pikmin and Metroid remakes

"New Play Control" is a weird name though.. sounds like it was translated on Babelfish or something..

I'm hoping for a £19.99 price over here. I have already got original versions of all games & new controls don't really swing it for me seeing that I paid £39.99 on each when they came out on the Cube.

DK:JB on one hand sound like it looks better and has more content but on the other I wish it came with bongos as they made the game.

I might get F-Zero GX with online and Geist with fixed framerate & controls, but I doubt they'll happen.

I'm wondering how you can play DK:JB on this with a wiimote and nunchuk
