Gaming Playing normal mk7 Grand Prix, random mii showed up

I was just playing normal Grand Prix trying to finish getting my two stars in everything, and a random mii showed up and began racing along with other CPUs. What is this, said something like quick starter something, wish I took a screenshot of it. Was it a street pass, I wasn't connected to the internet either, just normal single player Grand Prix.

It was likely someone that you had streetpassed with before who also has MK7.

I didn't even know this was a feature. Totally threw me off my game, buddy was in my game for 8 races, had to quit out mid race to get rid of him. So, do they talk about other players joining you in the instruction manual?

Thats probably what it was. OP if you check your miiwhatever it is, parade or something, If you have the time, you can probably find that weird mii in that mess with all the other people you streetpassed or played against online.
