A curiously dated interview (from July 2015) was posted on Eurogamer today, revealing that the latest entry in Nintendo's Pikmin franchise is "in development and close to completion," according to Shigeru Miyamoto. Seeing as how the game is almost finished, it'll most likely be appearing on Wii U, and not the rumored next gen Nintendo console.

So...if it was close to being finished in July, does that mean it'll be in stores tomorrow? :unsure:


I admit: I have no fucking idea what to think of this. Hey, Shigeru...is there any latest entry of, y'know...F-zero or Metroid being close to finish, by any chance? I mean...since the company doesn't even bother to announce things* anymore, it's probably best to just ask.



*I guess we'll have to do another RIP for nintendo direct?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
