there were people complaining yellow looks like there is an error.
so white should be more distinguishable. it is a very minor thing, I have no idea why people bring so much attention there. once the case is closed nobody really checks the LED
It is hoped that even if the box is closed, the state of the LED can still be seen through the heat dissipation hole, so as to judge the contact of the lead from the outside. No doubt, it has something to do with the designer.
 
Did anyone tried these mosfets or have knowledge about whether they would work or not?

IRFH8334, IRFH8318, IRFH3707
 
1. EMMU function failure or damage
2. DAT0 DAT1 short circuit
3.EMMC DAT damage, normal installation + Picofly can enter third-party system

I might have asked this before but I'm still making a mess of doing it, that is, cutting the shield before closing the switch. The sessions and knife I use are no clean way of doing it. I have a complete mini drill tools with all kinds of bits. Tried a few but were no good. Could someone point out the best bit for this kind of job for me?
So meny Repair mens use nipper tool. To cut oled mmc shell cpu shell.

This is a great time to be around the Switch modding scene. Great stuff everyday. I can't get used to the euphoric feeling when I successfully glitch a Switch, it's just amazing.

How are you getting any fails?
Every install should work.
To be honest it will be down to soldering if you have any fails.

I wondered that too. 33% failure rate on OLED installs is extremely high. So every 1/3 OLEDs he works on gets bricked? That's not good odds and yeah sounds like a skill issue. Not trying to be a dick just I wouldn't be happy with that failure rate.

Stating a fact is not you being a dick, it’s just stating facts. The reason for that many failed consoles is blue screen of death. I killed many APUs because I grined the GND point on the APU. So that failure rate is very much well-deserved for not following Standards .

Ever since I figured it out and started using the shield as ground I have not had any failures. I’m well into my 6th console with straight success.
 
Too may posts in this tread, there won't be many ppl see this warning. It's better to give the seller a bad review, put the warning in the review. It will help both seller and buyers to avoid that adaptor.
