Hacking Ouendan 2 on R4= Screw up

okay, so i wanted to play ouendan 2 which i have been playing for a while now and my DS froze on the menu before loading. heres what happened.
i click GAME
i scroll down
i find the game
i click A
the touch screen goes black, the top screen is fine
than after a while, both screens go black
thats about it. well, the same thing happens with clicking Y to get to the cheats. its very annoying.
if anything i'll backup my card and format it.
so, can anyone help?

turn all cheats off

okay. im using V1.18 btw.

Delete all the cheats files (CHEAT.DAT and usrcheat.dat) and try again.

Were you playing with cheat from the beginning?

and the file might be corrupted. u can try redownloading the .nds file
