Like title says: I am on 5.5.1 and last night used Haxchi on my DS game.

Playing some games tonight, WiiU in downloads suddenly says: systemupdate error. Is 5.5.2 pushed today?

Again, sorry. I am not online 24/7 on this website, have been here for short time just bought a WiiU and been reading the tutorial topics.

And I saw someone posting a topic about 'softmod your WiiU now before an update hits', did not see the millions of topics you saw. Whats logical for one, might not be logical for someone else. I am not stupid, nor am I blind, but take into consideration some people have not read what you read.

Mod lock this topic and yes agreed, some autolock for topics like this would be good. Can totally understand it gets annoying to people that are around here a lot.

I think more of the hate is just people not bothering to look for answers before asking questions, one would assume they are lazy, while each person has their own reason for what they do, others do not know and assume the worst of things.

Simply searching google or any tutorial should explain this reason when blocking nintendo updates.

More of the matter has to do with just the people who already seen this still bother leaving replies but being rude in the process, one can just decide not to respond, or do it normaly and conciderably. But i cannot speak for others, i can speak for myself, topics i don't like to discuss i do not visit or reply to cause i can do that. Is easy for me and less problems. :P

Sorry if you felt any disappointment with your responses to the question and hope you aren't upset. :)

They should honestly just change it to say "DNS blocking"
Cause it isn't anywhere close to hacking..

He claims to not be blind or stupid yet this is answered in the stickies. This is precisely why the stickies are there.

I quote:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-wii-u-hacking.396828/

"LATEST FW: 5.5.1
EXPLOITABLE FW: 3.0.0, 3.1.0, 4.0.0, 4.1.0, 5.0.0, 5.1.0, 5.3.2, 5.4.0, 5.5.0, 5.5.1

No, the "System Update" you see in the download log with a red X on it does NOT mean there is a new update out. That only means you are correctly blocking updates.

Check HERE to see if Nintendo has released a new FW."

Like others, reading threads like this just winds me up. It's laziness, there is no excuse for it.

Well i don't come up with the name, if i did, it wouldn't be TubeHax or dualhax, It will just be "You are blocking nintendo servers from your system, so no updates can be downloaded." That is all it is. Why they pick names like tubehax or anything with HAX in it beyond my understanding, i guess is the cooler way to say these dumb simple things. HAXCHI, doesn't describe what it is, but is a homebrew loader installed in a NINTENDO DS virtal console game. So why not just call it something relevant to what it actually does.

Dual hax least make some sense cause you are using dns to block 2 servers at the same time so dualhax is kinda okay, but again, calling anything hax is unnecessary. Just call it update blocking or Nintendo blocking.

It is against gbatemp.net rules to post in any language other than English please edit your text immediately into English or you will feel the wrath of the gbatemp.net mods.

It's not only that, he's insulting him badly. I know because I know the language a bit. I've been there.

I mean built in sound on mobo's has gotten way better but still XP handled sound better and X-Fi was still better than onboard audio even to this day

Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs

I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?

@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
