Is there any way to know when is a MSG file used? I mean, it would be a pain in the ass to translate files witout knowing the order. If we did, we could make a patch at least for the cutscene. I dumped al the text, and i was about to start a thread for the project. Altough all the credit is for DarthNemesis for the tool.

I really like the layout you've created for the translation I just wish I knew how to put it in the game I really want to learn how to do these translations as I think I could speed up alot of the processes as I have spare time to kill and nothing to kill it with I've looked at some tutorials but some of them just seem a bit too technical and don't get me wrong I'm not a complete noob when it comes to computers haha if someone can point me in the direction of some decent tools for hacking the roms and file swapping and a decent tutorial then

I will dive in at the deep end and have a bash at translating this game 100% with a little help naturally

That's no a patch. It just dumps al .msg files to be able to translate them notepad friendly.

Tomorrow i'll spend some time on it. I need translators. I'll start a project thread tomorrow. Don't expect anything big tough.

Actually, I believe the order of the stats there are wrong. I did a quick bit of testing with the initial stats, and based on my experience with the real RO, the order should be:

atk
def
matk
mdef
hit
flee
crit
atk speed

Though m atk and mdef could be switched, I didn't look at that one all too closely

The names of the MSG files are what you can use.
