Want to play as an Octoling in Splatoon without destroying other people's saves? Okay-dokey, here's a quick tut of what you need to do:

Install this and download and extract this.

Run this and then this afterwards on your Wii U (if they crash, host them yourself with this) and then start Splatoon.

@Bubsy Bobcat, I noticed the picture of your Octoling has missing Octoling eyes. This can actually be fixed by running the script as soon as you start Splatoon. Just wondered if you wanted to add this bit of info to the first post.

On your PC open "octoling.py" with Notepad (or whatever else you prefer to edit code) and edit the IP address to your Wii U's IP address (don't know it? Use this) then open up the folder containing all your pyGecko stuff, hold shift and right click anywhere inside the folder and select "Open command window here". Then type this in and press enter:

C:/Python27/Python -i octoling.py
(Or if you're lazy, extract and run this in your pyGecko folder)

Give it a few seconds to do it's thing. When it says it's done, exit the plaza to anywhere else and your inkling should now be an octoling! (assuming your inkling is female)

If it's crashing with the mp4 exploit, host the pygecko mp4 yourself with wamp. If it still crashes, reset your Wii U browser and try again.

Well there is a way to change your character to an Octoling (since Octolings are playable characters that can't be accessed without hacking) by hacking your save game which no longer works on the latest version of Splatoon (it'll delete your save when you do it, and if you do manage to get it working on the latest update, you'll be banned when you use it online) and playing with this Octoling save hack online would softlock everyone else's saves.

I can't seem to get this to work. I have downloaded python TCPGecko and run the exploits, however i always get the error 'from tcpgecko import TCPGecko'

Could someone help me? I can't, for the life of me, get the second link to work on my WiiU. I've successfully gotten the first one working, but after loading the second one, it sits on a white screen. :/

I guess I should also mention I've gotten to the "Installing PyGecko" screen ONE time.

Go to loadiine.ovh on your Wii U, then in the dropdown select Kernel+TCPGecko(Or PYGecko) then it will shut browser. After that, reopen browser and go back to loadiine.ovh. TCPGecko should now be running .

Restart Wii U console, then clear cookies. Then you can just follow what I mentioned .
