Hacking Ocarina with External HDD?

I'm just curious as to how to get cheats working with an ISO on the USB External HDD via Ocarina because you have to insert the disc or something...

Or is there some other cheat thing I can use?

Most USB Loaders support Ocarina codes. And if a game is asking you for a disc, just put any old disc in there. It could be a blank CD for all the Wii cares.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
