Homebrew O3DS 2.2.0 problem

Well I just found 3ds for 5$
Problem.is, the game cart port wont read anything. Is there a way to start homebrew or any cfw on it? Or just homebrew and update to 4.5 or 9 to run luma? Thanks!

I dont want to keep it, just want a way to update and use browser exploit, launch cfw and gift that 3ds.

I believe the ARM9 exploit itself works, but the browser exploit is patched. Not sure though.

You could download play with another 3DS. That would update to the version of the cart in the other console.

Maybe it's different on the o3ds, but my n3ds has a "download play" icon on the home menu.

Browserhax won't work because hax only works 9.0+. Fix your game slot and dump otp with Cubic Ninja

Then update to 9.0-11.2 and install arm9loaderhax.

How to do that exactly?

Get another console and play a download play game on it. For example, Luigi's Mansion or Mario Kart 7. Start a local multiplayer game. On the 2.2 console, tap the download play icon (I think it has two orange consoles bouncing up and down in the banner) and choose the game that appears in the menu. It should update your 2.2 console to the level found in the cartridge.

Regarding the game slot, 9 out of 10 times there will be a some bent pins and if you straighten them out well enough it should start reading games again. I did this with a friend's they had bought online and it's worked fine ever since.
