(If you're going to try this, the default port for Charles is 8888, just to let you know before you set it up.)

Basically, all you have to do is set up the proxy with the Wii U, and then enable SSL for all of Nintendo's update servers. For some reason, it makes the connection to the servers fail.

so i must have my computer on for use this proxy? also what are the nintendo's servers?

In order to set up the DNS I have to change the DNS settings within my broadband instead of the Wii U or it won't work. At the moment, I share my broadband with other people, so It's not like I'm going to be disrespectful and set up the DNS in the broadband and them not get access to youtube afterwards when they want to.

So I just use Charles Proxy instead. (I'd say it works even better than Tubehax DNS!)

OpenDNS hasn't failed me yet since I'm always checking that it's doing it's job.

Basically the usual ones you have to block. Simply connect the Wii U to the proxy and then enable "SSL Proxying" for all the update servers it tries to connect to.

ok, i am on windows 10 sp1 x64, idownload the x64 installer of the program, but when done if i try to boot it up, nothing happens!!

Usually a splash screen will appear for a little while on the trial version. It takes a bit of time to open.

If your Tubehax DNS works, then just stick with that. Proxy method basically does what Tubehax DNS does anyway.
