Hacking Homebrew PS Vita not detecting Wi-Fi connection

my friend has a fat PS Vita and he has some problems in it. Two weeks ago, it got water damaged and some things don’t work like it should. He has trying connecting to Wi-Fi on many different networks but only a few times he was successful. Also, he tried erasing his Wi-Fi network but when he searched for networks nothing appeared and he can’t connect anymore. Maybe his Wi-Fi chip is water damaged or something?? I don’t know, maybe you guys can help me (and I hope so)

Sorry for the late response, but the moment you said "water damage" that's it. The water makes contact with any and all of the electrical circuits inside and the battery FRIES THEM. I'd suggest a new Vita. Sorry for the bad news...
