Hey,

I've revived two old projects that allows downloading directly form NUS (Nintendo servers).
As far as i know these are the only solutions for Linux/OSX, but also work on Window.

Credit goes to the original creators of the projects, i just made minor changes to make it work...

You can find both project on my github repo:

Please only download backups to games you already own.

I stumbled on this looking for a way to install d2x cIOSs (a guide I'm following says the NUS Downloader can be used), I figured this might help me out but looks like no.

Just wanted to say thank you for reviving the project and I can confirm that this works on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. I needed to install pyinstaller, otherwise the script and the generated binary work with no issues.

Great work, to you and the original creators!

Which one should I use ? Or do I have to use UI to run on frontend properly ? I understand that UI require terminal just like command line for windows but with frontend it is like GUI, correct ?

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
