NSMBW GameCube Controller Via Gecko?

Really dumb question for New Super Mario Bros Wii. I recently saw that people are able to use a Wii Classic Controller on the game via Gecko. Is there a chance you can use a GameCube Controller the same way? Just curious because I don't own a Classic Controller myself

Not Gecko but you can with RVLoader: https://github.com/Aurelio92/RVLoader

Basically it lets you control the Wii Remote and Nunchuck with the buttons on a Gamecube controller.

not really what I'm looking for. But thanks for the info. Mostly because thats a complete overhaul of the wii menu

Also, RVLoader gives lots of crashes, unless you hardmod your Wii for removing the Bluetooth and Wi-fi modules.

Not with me. It's very stable.

It always crashes when using GC2Wii after an hour or so, for me.

I have played NSMB Wii and Super Paper Mario for hours with it and had no problem.

There's also FAKEMOTE which allows you to play with a PS3 and PS4 controller. But it also has bugs
