Thanks a lot Mad!
To be honest I was getting really desperate after having failed so many times in the past, but now I'm so happy that I've made it, and it's thanks to all of those who helped me!

Everything is working flawlessly. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks that's cool!

2 other questions.

1/ Let's say Nintendo rolls out a new update for the 3ds, can I safely update my 3ds or will it disable the ability to launch fbi and homebrew launcher?

2/ When playing cia games, you can play online without getting banned right?

Assuming you're on a9lh :
1. 99% of the time it will be safe to update, but good to check the forums first just in case (there should be confirmations of safety within a few hours of the update's release)
2. Yes but don't play anything before its release date :-)

I just update it like that, without doing any other step?
Again I'm sorry for all the dumb questions xD
You probably want to update Luma first, in case there's an issue that requires an update to fix. But no big deal, because you can always update it after you get an issue (only involves replacing arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card)

Like Quantumcat said, You should keep Luma3DS up to date. There is a CIA called "star updater" that will update luma automatically when you run it. Always use the stable releases, not nightlies. As far as how to do a system update, yes, just do it like normal using the option in system settings. If you put the 3DS in sleep mode and it downloads the update, then asks you on the home screen if you want to install it, that is also safe. Pretty much any normal way to do a system update works fine. As Quantum suggested though, you should check online before updating to make sure its safe.
