what he said is right. better use NUS Downloader to pack the wads required for doing TBR. place on the root of the SD then do the offline install.
you will be needing wads for these:

from CSG:

I get:

Ok, I tried searching the forum, but my Search-fu has always sucked, so I am going to just ask outright:

I have a Wii, softmodded to 4.1u. I want to update to 4.2u in the easiest manner possible (while still being softmodded, obviously). I also want to update my cIOS and such to some newer ones. What all do I need? And can anyone link all the stuff I need together for me? I'm still new to this and trying to learn.

Hi, I posted this in the hardware section, but perhaps it is a softmod issue,

I softmodded 4.1U based on the guides here. I use WiiFlow loader.

Issue is adding more than 2 wiimotes. I have three. I can add the first two fine, but not able to add a 3rd. I know they work since I can anyone of them into the 2nd spot, but none after that.

I did a full reset, holding sync on wii for 15 seconds after removing power, and then re-synced. I just wont go two more than 2 wiimotes recognized.

Could there be an issue on the softmod that would limit the total wiimotes to 2, or a fix i can do to resolve this? Thanks

Install wads of IOS70 and System Menu 4.2 acquired from NUS Downloader. Make sure you install them in that order. You should be on cIOS rev14. If you're disc loading, install Neogamma R8 beta 17. If you load from USB, install USB Loader GX latest rev.

I think it is 14. What would I look at to be sure? I also have Prii loader installed.

Also, I now realize it may be an issue of not being able to use two specific remotes at the same time. The one that came with the box, is fine, and will sync with the others. If I try to add just the 2 i bought after, only one will sync and the other will not. Both work, but not at the same time. They both have the same IC # if that matters.

I have followed the modify any wii 4.2 guide step by step and everything worked fine except that I get a black screen when loading neogamma. I have a USA wii with wiikey 1 1.9s installed. I am not sure how to fix this. I tried installing different versions of neogamma with no luck. Thank you for any help in advance.

What if I am on cIOS rev 16? Will that still work just fine? (After posting here, I found the installer to update to that and did so, since it fixed a problem I was having.....
