no$gba has a fixed window size and doesn't have options for filtering. It also runs many games without sound issues.

So is Martin continuing with it or just made 2.7 to cash a little bit?
Given the improvements in 2.7 (compatibility mainly, not needing game-specific fixes for a chunk of stuff) Idunno' if I'd say it's just for cash (as the changes seem to be far-reaching internally)... but I wouldn't say anything like "it'll have more active development now".

It's just a hobby for him, after all.

Version 2.7a is out now but only donation! Meanwhile, version 2.7 is now available to download freely! :)

Today, Martin Korth will starting emulated DSI games right now before emulated 3DS games soon!

No$gba version 2.7b is out now! Donate it for getting new version. Here the change log:-

- help: added caution on unsupported [dest-1] for LZ77UnCompVram bios function
- sav: support for 1024kbyte and 8192kbyte nds flash save memory (both untested)
- sav: dynamically allocates save memory as needed (between 128k and 8192kbyte)
- bugfix: hwreset preserves gba/sav media creation date (got destroyed in v2.7a)
- nds/help: added more nds cartridge rom IDs and nds flash IDs (thanks jimmsu)
- poc/clone: fixed bug in pocketstation bios-clone (added INT_BASE to show_date)
- poc/loader: accepts checksum for newly discovered "J110" BIOS version
- poc/emu: applies 4x4 pre-zoom (less tiny window, avoid StretchDIBits failure)
- poc/help: added notes on BIOS versions (in no$psx help, see there)
- poc/help: added POC-XBOO circuit and sample code for xboo TTY debug messages
- poc/xboo: tty debug window (ascii characters transferred via FUNC3 feature)
- poc/xboo: verify-before-write and skip-if-same (higher lifetime/faster upload)
- poc/xboo: pocketstation upload/download memcard and download bios functions
- nds/help: added basic notes on special ds carts (infrared, nand, microsd slot)
- sound: optional 16bit output (instead of 8bit) (maybe fixes 'noise' problems)
- gui/setup: uses asia-compatible TabControl instead of unreliable PropertySheet

Meanwhile, version 2.7a is now official FREEWARE!!! Get it now!

after someone donating for no$gba 2.7b it still seams to be no$gba 2.7a .

But its grate that it will support .zip / 7zip / .RAR archives :)

If for some reason donating to get 2.7b gets you 2.7a, you might want to tell Martin about that. It shouldn't be happening, the latest version should be included.

But seriously, how does NO$GMB stack up against the other emulators??? Also, you should read this article/thread; its hilarious!!!

From a developer standpoint, if it ran on no$GMB you could be reasonably sure that it would run on a real Gameboy/Gameboy Color. The Gameboy was picky about when and where you accessed it's registers, and this emulated the behavior nearly perfectly.

The VRAM and tile/sprite displays were useful for troubleshooting sprite and tile code.

My Defender of the Crown Gameboy Color port was debugged in no$GMB, and tested on the real hardware occasionally:
