I got a new Super Famicon recently after my old one died on me, and i was looking to get a flash cart for it.
do you know any worth getting? if so please do let me know, and feel free to tell me the pros and cons of
whichever you suggest.

I'd avoid the AliExpress $20 ones because they are poorly designed. You can end up with game glitches, have no enhanced MSU-1 audio, and comes a risk where you can end up with a DoA cart. If you want a genuine one at an affordable price, I suggest looking on eBay.

I'd recommend just using Retroarch but if you want to play on actual hardware then the FXPak Pro is the best flash cart. There are cheaper ones but they don't support as many mappers so you won't be able to run Super FX or SA-1 chip games. The most notable ones being Star Fox, Yoshi's Island and Super Mario RPG. Some improvement hacks also use the SA-1 chip to eliminate slowdown.

Aliexpress is fine. Just look for the shops with the most sales and good reviews. Don't go with the cheapest listing. Their return policy is decent as well if you end up with a lemon. They are around $90 USD

Would you mind telling me what those are? I might just go with a cheaper one and ask for the fx pak pro for Christmas as I already own a copy of super Mario rpg.

I had planned on using retroarch on wii u as my snes station on crt, but unfortunately that port is not very good and has alot issues that I feel should be looked into at some point.

This one is cheaper but as far as I know it doesn't support any mappers. This means in addition to the titles mentioned above you can't play Mega Man X 2 and 3, Pilotwings and a few lesser known games.

If you're willing to use emulators with a CRT shader then I recommend buying a Mini PC or Xbox ROG Ally. You can save a few hundred dollars on the Xbox ROG Ally if you buy a second hand one off the Facebook Marketplace. Another option is to use your Wii U running standalone emulator ports on vWii.

This is partly false. It's those $20 flash carts that are the garbage ones. The ones that are around $80-$100 USD will play FX games, have MSU-1 support, etc and are essentially 100% cloned hardware of the FXPak Pro for half the price. I have one, and it's amazing. It's basically the SummerCart of the SNES.

That's what I meant to say. Cheaper ones are garbage, expensive clones usually a mixed bag but should be fine to use regardless.

I may have to just use standalone emulators until I order a flash cart or Christmas comes, has there been a forwarder made? If not that's fine, I only ask because I know there's one for the dream cast and PS1 emulator.
