You didn't look at the packaging before you threw it away? It was on the back
Used from a local game shop, found it on their official website... The thing has problems in the Wii/Wii U menu too, turbo starts flashing and reads random button presses for the first 20secs its connected. Reminds me of the powerglove.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but with the GameCube USB Adaptor for WiiU every so often the analogue stick will lock and will send me into a wall in FZeroGX

Has anyone else notice this? I load games from a USB HDD on the WiiU.

are you using a wavebird?

Er, this was a mistake. My bad! :P
I had my TV set on "16:9" but forgot to turn the "Wii U Widescreen" option off. With the option off, the black bars only get smaller instead of getting cut off, but the top and bottom is still cut off.

Okay, I'll list one game from each category. When testing, these games were all played with the "Wii U Widescreen" option off (So 4:3) and my TV set on "Screen Fit." ("16:9" was the same as "Screen Fit" but stuff was cut off.)
Amazing Island: Has both circles and ovals. In dialog boxes, the green rectangle prompt is supposed to be square, but when you go up to someone, the A Button prompt and the square cloud it's in are fine. A quick Google search showed that the A Button prompt and the square cloud box are supposed to be a little wide, so when I said that some games have both, it was indeed because of a developer mistake, so we can conclude this game is squished for me.
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction: Has both. It looks fine when it has both in-game Widescreen and the "Wii U Widescreen" option on. It looks squished with both off.
Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights: Has ovals This one is mind-numbingly obvious, right as soon as you see the Heavy Iron Studios logo. Other instances include the moon, and the characters looking anorexic.

Is this how you see it on your setup? If that's the case then I'm pretty sure that's by design.
If you mean something else could you maybe upload some images? I honestly didn't see anything wrong with the games.

Could you please add an option to disable Home returning to loader? Sometimes I hit it accidentally mid-game when pausing with + on the classic pro.
Or maybe having to hold it for half a second before returning, like the power button behaves.

Thanks for the amazing software!

Just lost some SERIOUS progress pressing home while switching weapons with start in MMX4's last boss =[

I think it would be a very good idea to add a 2 second hold time to the home button/ exit to loader. The power button works that way so the console doesn't get shut off by accidentally pressing it, the same should be applied to the home button.

That's all on you but I would also prefer if exiting was remapped officially to either the Power button, the Home button on wiimote or both. I dislike the GC controller's exit combo when it is clearly unnecessary and with the reset combo it's just a cluttered mess.
If what you want is just to disable it, it is very easy by removing the mapping from PADReadGC.c line 1172, or replace it with the start button.

Although... when there's a IPL detected and autoboot is enabled, would it be possible to have a blackscreen instead of seeing the Nintendont GUI?
That's a great idea. Though it should be regardless if the IPL is detected or not, just autoboot is enough.

Why would we want to remove the name of the program?
Why would we want to remove the version of the program? Its hard enough to get people to report what version they are having problems with.
Why would we want to remove instructions on how to cancle the auto boot?
Why would we want to remove status and error messages during boot?

are you using a nunchuck? if yes my nintendont mod remapped exit to 1+2 it's very unlikely that exit can happen accidentally
also for users who want the nintendont verbose info hidden, can you check the mod version it has progress bars instead of verbose, I can also add an option to hide everything if needed

Removing the info might not be wise but would it be possible to make an option to make the screen fade to black after selecting the game, or make the text and everything not visible? This way when running from a loader we get a black screen followed by the GC bios screen followed by the game, that's what I suggested from the very early days of Nintendont, if "removing" the info is a bad idea we can always try to "hide" them somehow, as an option of course, so that if you run into issues you can always re-enable them, this way it looks as if the games run strait, I know it serves no purpose gameplay wise but just like the bios screen it's a nice touch that's been requested many times before.

I been meaning to report this to you a while ago, your master mod runs fine but it has a fatal flow for me, the GC controller d-pad is broken in the menu, if I press UP it goes to the update menu and if I press RIGHT it exits the loader, I can only use it with a loader though.
