How many people are having this issue? How many people use Nintendont via SD? After r48, the Wii U crashes & reboots upon game loading with "loading sd init..." - No errors or "fail" is displayed.

The only issue I had in the past was by USB, I was trying to start a game and ALL the time it says Init DI... and it crashes, but now it is fixed, from SD never had a problem.

I was saying physical memory cards were a low priority. It only applies to people who have older Wii's and have a strange desire to pay extra money for save storage.
But I have completed many games back in the days that I'd like to keep my score and save files till now, I play them every now and then especially for games that unlock more content in 2P modes which is the main reason why I still use my Wii, if I'm to use MCEmu I'll have to go and redo ALL that and it's not picnic seeing how I have over 5 pages worth of save files, if there was some tool to convert all my MC saves to the Nintendont format on the fly without corrupting anything then sure I can trade this with that!

As for why I check on Nintendont when I have Dios Mios, some of you may wonder that, Dios Mios still has a lot of issues and MANY games still crash and unplayable there, many of which I really like and used to play a lot on my Gamecube back in the day (which I can't now due to discs being damaged) such as Megaman X Command Mission and The Simpsons Road Rage, not to mention the audio streaming issue, and I wanna be prepared for when I get a Wii U to be able to play my old GC games again since I really have no interest in Wii games whatsoever, I hate motion controls and I only use my Wii to play GC and emulators, so Nintendont would be a great addition for my Wii and I can always use the Mios for Quadforce instead.

Bottom line is I was partially right that the devs don't care much anymore about Wii when it comes to Nintendont, it's true that we have Dios Mios and I'm planning on getting a Wii U sometime next year anyway, but until then I still use my Wii for most of my gaming which is mostly Gamecube, I loved that console!

Thanks for the 411. I find it fascinating, in the commit logs between r48 & r79, there's no mention of a change which could potentially alter loading via SD.

sonictopfan check lorenzothecomic's post. There's no reason to fret over your save files, you can export them using GCMM and then transfer them over via dolphin. Perhaps this info should be posted in the OP as well not like most people will read it but we can at least refer them there for the steps on a how to.

I can make a raw back up using GCMM but what format shall I convert them to in order for them to work on Nintendont? And is compatibility good enough or do many save files get corrupted during the process? many games like Virtua Striker 2002 seem to only work if you make a raw back up for the save then transfer to Dolphin but copying the save alone using GCMM doesn't work otherwise!

I can't update the compatibility list because it doesn't let me to log in, and I tried to modify without entering in my user, but I can't, it says that I have to write some numbers capcha, but I do that and still I can't edit.
Anyway, I'm posting hero to say Luigi's Mansion NTSC-U is working with MCemu good and it doesn't freeze (sometimes yes, but not all the time) it is playeable, but while you are catching a ghost, luigi hat dissappear, it is a graphical glitch.

EDIT: All of this in r79.

It's interesting that you somehow know what we are working on. Maybe you should take a better look at the changes.

I know because of what you guys communicate to us and the list of version changes here.
https://code.google.com/p/nintendont/source/list

If I'm missing any information where you, greyrogue, or fix have attempted to up compatibility with games that didnt work before the jump to usb, I'd love to know but according to the source page, the only fixes ive seen were to controller settings and to improve memory card emulation. Am I wrong? You didnt really say, moreso than make an offhand comment about me making assumptions and to go back and look at the changes...which i already had or i wouldnt have posted in the first place.
*confused*

Hello! I am new on GBAtemp, I am register because I appreciate the site's community a lot, in which I fast hope to make myself comfortable:P , but especially to be able to participate and help in the development of this wonderful homebrew that is Nintendont.
I am thus anxious to thank enormously Crediar for having to begin the development of Nintendont, and which was kind enough to make the source code public, the team which helps from now on in its advance and who make it a homebrew which does not stop evolving from day to day, and all the members who help in the development of the project.
I am going to take advantage of all the holidays which come to make a maximum of tests, to list the results, by hoping to help you, of better than I can, to see more! In at once!
PS: is there a space of the forum to present myself? I like making that:lol: .
PSbis: excuse my English which is not always perfect, I use a translator, if you do not understand anything, say it to me!

I don't know how to put cheats yet...

Try downloading following .bin file and follow this:
Can I use Cheat codes?
Yes, cheat codes are working on the Open source version (Not on the Alpha).
To enable the cheat codes, you need to download kenobiwii.bin file and put it in your sneek folder, like this:SD:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin

Then, enable Ocarina and generate your cheat code file in your preferred loader.

If it doesn't work with SD:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin, try with:
USB:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
Depening if you are playing from USB or SD. I tried it with SD only while I was playing from USB and it didn't work.

Ok, now I have test and memory card emulation is working with Shadow The Hedgehog, I will try that later.

EDIT: I don't think that will work with this update, it only affects memory card emulation, but the other code is the same.

Edit2: Can you pass me the cheat file? I don't know what kind of cheat you need, but if you pass me the file with the cheat, I will test it now.

EDIT:Init DI... frezze seems to be a MCemu problem, when I erase the Virtual memory card, it come back to normal.

Maybe your device is corrupted then, I highly recommend doing a windows checkdisc and removing the saves folder, then letting it recreate and stuff.

So you didnt have any problems like Memory Card corrupted or so with Shadow The Hedgehog?
Also, the cheats are supposed to be compatible since previous revisions, only thing is that I cannot test that right now. I downloaded the cheat codes from Wiiflow and ran Nintendon't from Wiiflow with Ocarina activated from there. I have to test the kenobiwii.bin file from the USB to see if that works.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
