i used 79 trough usb and everything works like it should on the wiiu but i dont have a sd card to do tests but you should just back up a usb stick and try to see if you get the same result
How many people are having this issue? How many people use Nintendont via SD? After r48, the Wii U crashes & reboots upon game loading with "loading sd init..." - No errors or "fail" is displayed.
But I have completed many games back in the days that I'd like to keep my score and save files till now, I play them every now and then especially for games that unlock more content in 2P modes which is the main reason why I still use my Wii, if I'm to use MCEmu I'll have to go and redo ALL that and it's not picnic seeing how I have over 5 pages worth of save files, if there was some tool to convert all my MC saves to the Nintendont format on the fly without corrupting anything then sure I can trade this with that!I was saying physical memory cards were a low priority. It only applies to people who have older Wii's and have a strange desire to pay extra money for save storage.
The only issue I had in the past was by USB, I was trying to start a game and ALL the time it says Init DI... and it crashes, but now it is fixed, from SD never had a problem.
I can make a raw back up using GCMM but what format shall I convert them to in order for them to work on Nintendont? And is compatibility good enough or do many save files get corrupted during the process? many games like Virtua Striker 2002 seem to only work if you make a raw back up for the save then transfer to Dolphin but copying the save alone using GCMM doesn't work otherwise!sonictopfan check lorenzothecomic's post. There's no reason to fret over your save files, you can export them using GCMM and then transfer them over via dolphin. Perhaps this info should be posted in the OP as well not like most people will read it but we can at least refer them there for the steps on a how to.
It's interesting that you somehow know what we are working on. Maybe you should take a better look at the changes.
I can't update the compatibility list because it doesn't let me to log in, and I tried to modify without entering in my user, but I can't, it says that I have to write some numbers capcha, but I do that and still I can't edit.
Anyway, I'm posting hero to say Luigi's Mansion NTSC-U is working with MCemu good and it doesn't freeze (sometimes yes, but not all the time) it is playeable, but while you are catching a ghost, luigi hat dissappear, it is a graphical glitch.
EDIT: All of this in r79.
Make a new account for the compatibility list with the same username
just released r80, I made quite alot of changes, so please test it out and report how it goes.
It had opened Shadow The Hedgehog with MCemu! I will try to save and see if it working Thanks FIX94!
If you try that one out, let me know if it works with Cheats enabled so I can finally have that damn Library to 100% completion.
I don't know how to put cheats yet...
Can I use Cheat codes?
Yes, cheat codes are working on the Open source version (Not on the Alpha).
To enable the cheat codes, you need to download kenobiwii.bin file and put it in your sneek folder, like this:SD:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
Then, enable Ocarina and generate your cheat code file in your preferred loader.
Try downloading following .bin file and follow this:
If it doesn't work with SD:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin, try with:
USB:/sneek/kenobiwii.bin
Depening if you are playing from USB or SD. I tried it with SD only while I was playing from USB and it didn't work.
I don't know how to put cheats yet...
EDIT:Init DI... frezze seems to be a MCemu problem, when I erase the Virtual memory card, it come back to normal.
Ok, now I have test and memory card emulation is working with Shadow The Hedgehog, I will try that later.
EDIT: I don't think that will work with this update, it only affects memory card emulation, but the other code is the same.
