Unofficial Wii/Wii U controllers were never supported. Use only Nintendo branded ones.

    Hello guys,
I have a noobish question concerning the deflicker:
When forcing video modes, you can select between "Force" and "Force (Deflicker)". But it's not 100 % clear to me which choice activates or deactivates the deflicker. It should say: "Force (Deflicker ON)" or "Force (Deflicker OFF)" for better understanding.

I also read that forcing progressive video in Nintendont always deactivates the deflicker. Is that true? And since I'm playing PAL-games only, is that always true for PAL-games as well?

Can you help me? And pardon me for asking such dumb questions. Thanks.

So if roms like Bloody Roar Primal Fury (at least for the NTSC and it sounds like the PAL versions) freeze in Nintendont, does that mean they'll probably never be entirely playable on the Wii U?

Oh well, I only tested it a few times through a forwarder and once by opening the original rom through Nintendont, it seems like at least with the latter I'll at least be able to play long enough to clear arcade mode once, which is about how long I tend to play these kinds of games.

    Quick Question:
DS download play anyone? As in, the DS pretends to be a GBA for stuff like TLOZ: Four Swords Adventures where it would be easier to find enough DSs than GBAs?

So Bloody Roar 3 is incompatible? Any other games incompatible?

is it bloody roar primal fury? if it is, is it eur, usa or jap region?
the only game in the entire compatibility list that has struggles is MaxPlay Classic Games (Unl) [EUR], which boots but the controllers offer zero inputs. Not even the gamecube controllers on the gamecube ports on the wii work. If not, then we will add this to the compatibility list as “wont boot”

According to the video below and some web forums, Zelda - Twilight Princess PAL 480p is actually 480i line-doubled, whereas NTSC is true 480p, on both GC and Wii versions. Does Nintendont fix the GC PAL version's lousy 480p? Or does anyone know of a patch that addresses it? @FIX94

twilight princess is better on wii. i recomment using usbloader gx rather than nintendont to play this game. because it is exactly as choosing between wii u and switch for botw

The Wii version is mirrored because they wanted Link to be right handed for the motion controls, though. At least the GameCube version isn't backwards. ;)

Hello I signed up just so I can get some help using a USB controller and I've tried looking for a solution but I'm just not finding it.
The controller in question is the PDP Faceoff Deluxe for the Switch.
I've created an ini for it using another ini file I made using "hid-test" for Wii U and just set the values to the proper buttons.
I know my numbers are correct because I can use this controller on my Wii U games using "hid to vpad" without any issue and everything seems to work when testing it with Nintendont's own hid test app.
I even used some controller wizard program I happened to find on this forum to triple check that I had the correct values set to the correct buttons.
My problem is that the controller doesn't work in Nintendont. I don't know if there's a setting I haven't enabled or something else that needs to be done.
My controller.ini is on the root of my SD card along with my "games" folder.
Is there a specific way my controller needs to be plugged in? Should it be plugged in before I open the app, or should I plug it in after opening a game? Do I disconnect my classic controller before opening Nintendont?
I really don't know and I'd really like to use this controller so any help is appreciated.
If needed I can provide the ini file I've created for this controller when I can get on my PC.

I thought it was done to not make the GameCube version feel like the Wii version with the same map layouts.

Twilight Princess is best on Wii U. The only downside I could see is the inability to use your sword with a Wiimote - but this isn't Skyward Sword/Wii Sports Resort/Zelda Battle Quest with MotionPlus support, it's just waggle. But if you're playing on a Wii, choosing between the versions would be based on your control preferences... and most players prefer the GameCube's traditional controls. So PAL players (version differences, save data, and owning a retail copy might preclude Just Playing NTSC-U) would naturally want better visuals.

That fancy Chinese nVidia version is just the Wii version emulated and upscaled with a texture mod to look similar to the Wii U version.

Here is your file. Please create a folder called "controllers" (without the quotes) on the root of your sd and usb devices (if you are using both) and extract the file in the archive to this folder in both devices (again if you are using both) and tell me if it didnt work

In Tales of Symphonia, in the overworld, the camera won't stop spinning in one direction. I thought this was just my controller, but every other gamecube game worked fine. And i tried multiple isos, the camera still kept spinning

Could be a bad dump, try dumping it again with USB Loader GX.

some games are more sensitive to the stick movement. use hidtest and check if the right analog stick is drifting (there are 4 values that show 80 or any other number as neutral. if one of these numbers isnt the same as the others, the stick is the problem
