thanks i edited the entry with the video i hope he doesnt go back and changes it again before coming here asking for help.

-I'm not personally played a game that stopped working. I've deduced that.
-Well, some games marked "works" on the compatibility list, doesnt work on my wii, like: mario party 4, eternal darkness, baten kaitos (2 of them), f-zero, final fantasy CC (when i launch them, the consol turns off. some games even appears initials logos)
-I'm surprised because, they're the same games that have issues with DiosMios . My revision of nintendont is 257 (since now i will keep all revisions instead of replacing with the updates)
-Also, i'm assuming that the compatibility list is correct, and the info there were really tested. The games, ntsc, cited above were shrunked with dmtoolbox. The list says that works this way. I still have to test other ways, with isos of other regions, 1:1 isos... but also, I want the other revisions of nintendont just to see if works the way I'm thinking.
mario party 4 and eternal darkness work fine for me i would sugest trying them full 1:1 isos with md5 checked on redump.

my settings are everything off or auto except mcemu wich is on with 251 blocks.

Adeed Splinter cell double agent Pal to the compat list even tough the ntsc version Blackscreens on boot the pal one works perfectly but it has a really strange id GWYXE41 so region X i guess.

I updated front page to add "how to exit nintendont" as a lot of users seems to have issue with setting their own controller.ini Power button combo.
I added read from disc as a possible feature.

About read from disc :
I didn't find which partition is used as memory card path, I guess the Kernel is using the device where nintendont boot.dol is located?

What is the "di: DVDR" ? is that GCOS multi-ISO discs?
I thought all GC discs had the GC MAGIC.
I didn't test autoboot from disc yet, but I guess it should work if I set game path to di:NORMAL.

I will update USBLoaderGX with new features and settings in a few days (I'm not home this week).

It should be noted that GC games has an internal combo to reset, it is B+A+Start, some ganes as RPGs has it disabled for security measures.

In the loader to boot discs you need to select SD or USB in the beginning, that will also be used for the memory card.

That gets set internally in nintendont if nintendont notices it is a burned game with a old wii disc drive. We need to have that separation because the disc read command is a different one for actual dvds.

realdisc detection should be done in nintendont then (to prevent doing it in the loaders too, you already have the function).

I know it's still work in progress and is probably already planed, but you should add path detection when using autoboot from a loader to check the disc format.
so we won't need to add the disc format detection in USBloaders. Only passing "di:" as path should be enough.
thank you.

So there we go, as I said earlier, also I fixed a bug on the way which people might not expect:
-cleaned up disc support for original wiis, for developers: to tell nintendont to load a disc just set the game path to "di"
-fixed a small mistake in PatchFuncInterface, that will fix various bugs such as games not booting or enemies are not killable in prince of persia warrior within

Ok, you're using compressed iso, mce, component cables on hdtv(if have anything to do), region? For me theses games dont run (r257). After choose "enable 480p" in game ffcc turns the consol off. I've changed the options but nothing. Almost same thing with f-zeroGX: after SEGA logo, the consol turns off...Mario party nothing even appeas: as soon is i launch the game, turns off...
I had a similar issue with F-Zero GX. It just turned out I just had a bad dump due to my Wii's laser going bad. Even though the dump would work on DML, it wouldn't work. After a few more dumps I finally got a clean one and it worked fine under Nintendont. You might also have a bad dump.

when the console turns off its a bad dump for sure nintendont cant apply any patches to hit and shuts down you need to download a new iso and md5 it with redump, just becuase something works on dolphin or dm doesnt mean it has to work on nintendont.

It only means it's a bad dump for known working games. For games like PSO (not Plus), even with a good dump it will shutdown the console since Nintendont can't apply the patches as it doesn't have them.

FIX94, I am assuming that we can't use disc support on the Wii U using 12mm DVD-Rs right?
